50micron / 0.05mm Clear PVC Coated Overlay Film For Cards Production
PVC coated overlay film for plastic cards offers superior protection and a professional finish for all types of plastic cards, including ID cards, membership cards, access control cards, and smart cards. Engineered with strong adhesion and excellent heat resistance, this overlay film ensures your cards remain vibrant, scratch-resistant, and durable under daily use.
It has higher peel strength and is suitable for laminating with most PVC sheets printed by various printers.
All inks require an adhesive layer between ink and overlay to provide a superior bond, so we offer a complete range of suitable coatings for all our overlay films to enhance bond strength. These adhesives can be used with UV (offset or silk screen) and oxidative inks. They meet or exceed ISO Peel strength standards and are available in rolls or sheets. We have designed specific coatings to prevent distortion during lamination and offer a wider processing window.
PVC overlay is a transparent layer that is applied to the surface of a plastic card. It acts as a protective barrier, shielding the underlying card from scratches, fading, and moisture. The strong coated adhesive ensures that the overlay firmly adheres to the card, providing long-lasting protection.
One side is a smooth surface, another side is coated with glue.
PVC overlays are commonly used in the production of identification cards, such as driver's licenses, ID cards, and access cards.
